Terms of Business

The White Chalet Collection acts as an agency to provide you with an accommodation finding service for your ski holiday. Our sales department will handle your enquiry to find suitable accommodation according to your criteria. We do not own any of the properties advertised on our website and communicate between you, the client, and the supplier, owners or operators of the property. We do not have a contract with you for your booking, holiday or travel arrangements. We provide the owner/operator of the accommodation with your contact details. You are then contacted directly by the owner/operator in order to complete the transaction. The owner/operator will be required to provide a booking form/contract to you, provide an invoice, and to take payment from you. The owner/operator will be in complete financial control of the reservation and of any further correspondence with you including all concierge services. Please read their booking conditions carefully, especially the terms relating to payment, amendments and cancellation.

When you make a booking you are confirming that you are authorised to accept on behalf of your party our terms and conditions and that you are responsible for all payments due for your booking and for keeping your party informed. You are also consenting to our privacy policy. Please refer to our privacy policy to understand how we store and use your information as this will be passed onto chalet owners and operators. You must be over 18 years old to make a booking.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance cover for you and your party.

Complaints

Because the contract for your accommodation or any other service is between you and the relevant principal, any queries or concerns should be addressed directly to them. If you have a problem whilst on holiday, this must be reported to the relevant principal or their local supplier or agent immediately. If you fail to follow this procedure there will be less opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint. The amount of compensation you may be entitled to may be reduced or you may not receive any at all depending upon the circumstances. If you have a complaint after your trip, you should write directly to the supplier first. We will of course assist you with any complaint where possible.

Behaviour

Please be aware that the booking conditions of principals will normally state that your stay can be terminated, with no refund, if the behaviour of your party falls below an acceptable standard. Principals will also often require you to pay for any damage you cause to the accommodation. Any costs and damages incurred from your behaviour are your financial responsibility. We are under no obligation to you if any event such as this occurs. You agree to indemnify us for the full amount of any claim (including all legal costs) made against us by any principal or any third party as a result. You may be required to pay a refundable damage deposit to the
principal according to their booking conditions. Any damage caused by you will be deducted from the security deposit and the remaining balance will be returned to you.

Law

The terms set out in these booking conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these conditions will be governed by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you have the right to pursue proceedings in the courts of Scotland and Northern Ireland under your local laws.
