The glitzy, fashion capital of Austria, with fur coats, fabulous skiing and heaps of snow
FOR SKIERS
Lech is a ritzy, riverside village with a fantastic snow record, plus extensive and challenging skiing. This ski resort is linked by brand new cable car to St Anton (with which it shares a lift pass) and Stuben, and linked by chair to Zurs, meaning there are heaps of on- and off-piste slopes to explore.
FOR NON-SKIERS
Lech is one of Austria’s most fashionable ski resorts and as such has plenty of smart boutiques to explore. Don’t miss Strolz with its dreamy skiwear and Champagne bar, and non-skiers can happily while away an afternoon sipping Aperol spritzes in one of the après bars lining the main street, from where skiers can be watched coming back down the home run.
