But Chalet L’Ours is a stunning designer chalet that you can have all to yourselves. Or, if you fancy help with the catering, you can hire it in for one or two nights, or more — it is totally flexible. A real discovery.

Bleached, light-filled, designer gorgeousness. Chalet L’Ours, or Bear in French, is funky and smart, complete with trendy, contemporary furniture pieces, a large feature fireplace and industrial chic lighting. The dining area has giant feather lamp shades and an oversized picture of a bear, while there are vast sheet glass windows pulling in views across the snow-covered slopes of the Nyon.

The bedrooms are muted and minimalist, Scandi almost. They are split across the ground and top floors, including two doubles and a bunk room that sleeps four on the ground floor and stunning master suite with private balcony, large bath and double sinks. The top floor also has two further double rooms and a spare room with two single beds for children.

This self-catered luxury chalet is highly flexible when it comes to catering. It can just be booked on a purely self-catered basis, so you have total privacy, or freshly prepared meals can be delivered to the chalet that just need reheating, or you can hire in a chef to cook for you. So it is mix and match dining that can be totally tailored to your needs.

Chalet L’Ours has a lovely terrace with outside hot tub as well as external dining table and oak chairs for soaking up the sunshine on warmer days.

This luxury ski chalet is a lovely space for children. It sleeps up to 16 and has a bunk room specially for little ones, plus it can provide games and early suppers can be laid on if you opt for a catered package.
