Chalet Les Trois Sieges is a breath-taking, luxury ski chalet located at the foot of a mix of blue and red pistes on the slopes above Morzine, with three chairlifts all a maximum of two minutes away. This is ski in/ski out skiing at its pinnacle, combined with sublime interiors and fabulous food and wine. It’s a genuinely rare treat.

An impeccable combination of traditional Alpine chalet (it used to be a cow barn) with luxury interiors. The living areas feature contemporary furniture with a nod to the origins of the barn. Think plenty of dark reclaimed wood, lush velvet sofas and designer lighting.

This luxury Morzine ski chalet has five en-suite rooms, four with showers and one with a bath and shower. Each is stocked with plentiful Cowshed products and soft White Company linen, towels and robes. Four rooms can be twin or Superking, one can be twin or King.

Two can also have an additional bed made up, making them triples, so the chalet can sleep 12 in total.

The food policy at this luxury catered ski chalet is delicious home cooked food created by the lovely owner Amanda, using the very best ingredients. She offers five courses each night, and there is no chef’s night off because of the location of the chalet.

I dined on meltingly good lamb rump with a red wine and pink peppercorn jus and potato-courgette-cherry tomato stack. Pud was a truly delicious rhubarb and custard tart with homemade honeycomb ice cream, followed by a generous cheeseboard then coffee and homemade truffles.

Each evening excellent wines are paired with dinner too, and there is a well stocked open bar. The chalet has an extensive range of wines available at no extra cost, mostly sourced from vineyards the owners have visited across Europe. They are passionate about their wines and Amanda has a level 3 WSET (Wines & Spirits Education Trust) qualification. Wine tasting evenings are also offered to guests, such as France versus the New World or blind tasting bubbles.

This luxury Morzine ski chalet has a lovely, peaceful outdoor hot tub. A sauna is planned for 2020/21 season, as is a separate treatment room.

Older children will love Chalet Les Sieges, but it is not ideal for very little ones. Aside from the super-fun 8-minute skidoo ride to get to the chalet, there is a mezzanine area with a games console for older children and a cinema room where they can watch their own films. Board games are also provided.

One word of warning though: they must be able to ski a blue run and manage a chairlift, otherwise getting to ski school is difficult.

The fabulous interiors and the genuine on-the-slopes location, meaning guests can easily ski straight back to the chalet at any time of the day.

Because the chalet is located right up on the slopes, there is no going out in the evenings. It is too far to walk into town. But it is a beautiful, secluded spot.

LOCATION

This luxury Morzine ski chalet is situated right on the piste and is properly ski in/ski out. The nearest 3 chairlifts are all approx 2 minutes away and are Troncs Express, Tetes and Charniaz Express. Access to the chalet when you first arrive is a real adventure, via an 8-minute skidoo ride.

GUESTBOOK

WOW! Les Trois Sieges is simply stunning. I have just returned from a week’s catered ski holiday and will 100% be booking for next year. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, above Morzine, it is the nicest place I have ever stayed. The chalet is a superb renovation of an old cow barn; retaining all the charm of a mountain retreat, but in 5-star luxury. It took my breath away when I first saw it. Three reasons I will be recommending this chalet to everyone: 1. Best location – ski in/out at its finest. It is also 50m from 3 chairlfits, high above Morzine – we were the first people on the slopes every day! 2. Hosts – Les and Amanda are wonderful hosts – they could not do enough for us. Amanda is an amazing chef! 3. Luxury – Every detail of this chalet has been lovingly tended to. From the quality of the linens and toiletries, to the incredible food, and the views from the hot tub in the evening. Thank you Les and Amanda for an unforgettable week. See you next year!

Amazing. I can only give a rave review. The chalet was perfect, comfortable, clean, warm and roomy. The cinema room was great, after a day on the slopes. Time spent in the hot tub with a glass or two of prosecco was the perfect place to relax before dinner. The menus were varied with beautifully cooked, tasty dishes. It was my birthday during our stay and the chalet made a fantastic cake to celebrate. I have to mention the foccacia, superb. Skiing in and out of the chalet was so convenient as it is situated just metres away from lifts and restaurants. The skiing was amazing with suitable slopes for every ability. Nothing was too much trouble, we had an incredible week with fabulous hosts.

From start to finish the whole holiday went like a dream. Transfers to the chalet were effortless; the skidoo from town to the chalet was a highlight! So much fun! Our lessons were arranged before we arrived and our instructor was excellent. With a choice of 3 chairlifts on our doorstep, getting around was simple and we could ski back to the door. After a day skiing it was a joy to relax in the hot tub with a glass of fizz. The cinema room was also fabulous. 5 women wine and chick flicks, perfect! Our rooms were comfy with quality bedding. (A must for fussy me!) Saving the best of the review til last: THE FOOD! We were thoroughly spoiled with food. I’m vegan and was totally accommodated with the food available. Perfect breakfasts, scrummy cakes & delicious dinners. Cannot wait to return to Les Trois Sieges!
