Chalet des Anges

Chalet des Anges is a lovely, excellently priced luxury ski chalet in an unbeatable location right beside the main lift hub of charming St Martin de Belleville.

Modern ‘boutique chic’ – without being OTT. Big squidgy sofas and quirky objets in the living room, and relatively simple bedrooms, with lots of pale wood. Fab modern bathrooms.

There are five bedrooms in this luxury ski chalet, all en-suite — two with showers, three with showers over bath. Cowshed toiletries, slippers and dressing gowns are supplied. Bedroom 3 also has bunks for two children. NB room 5 has an en-suite shower room but the loo is along the landing.

Seriously foodie! Chalet des Anges is a fully catered chalet and is founded on the owner’s chef background, but the food is presented in an unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere. Like in its sister chalets De la Lune and Polaris, the catering is of a standard more frequently found in far more expensive chalets.

Five white, five red house wines are supplied, plus non-champagne bubbles – all available all the time, with soft drinks and beer all freely available too. Champagne is served on arrival day. À la carte wines can be arranged pre-holiday.

No outdoor hot-tub or sauna.

This St Martin de Belleville ski chalet has board games, books and DVDs for little ones.
