Chalet Four Twenty L’Élé is a breathtakingly stunning contemporary ski chalet which would be rather expensive if let on a catered basis but it is available self-catered, making staying in such a superb luxury chalet affordable. It also embraces two chalets in one, the lower floor being self-contained as another self-catered chalet, Chalet Bobb. So, versatile and as well as super-stylish!

This knock-out luxury ski chalet was just a traditional barn in 2016. Then it was transformed into a masterpiece of architecture and design, fusing traditional wooden beams with industrial chic minimalism, designer fixtures and fittings such as a stunning glass staircase plus floor to ceiling windows. It’s calm, it’s cool, it’s achingly stylish.

The entrance level of the chalet is a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area that is flooded with light and sunshine through the massive glass fronted wall that looks out to the garden and the Parc des Dérêches. The glass doors open on to a balcony that enjoys the sunshine throughout the day and in to the evening. Also taking in this view is the sitting area that surrounds a wood burning stove and a large dining table complete with groovy Vitra rocking dining chairs.

The kitchen is open to the living area, making it a properly sociable environment, and it is well equipped with everything you need for self-catered holidays. A laundry room is situated behind the kitchen with a separate washer and dryer.

The glass staircase leads to the upper bedroom level which consists of two bedrooms and a master suite, all of which are en-suite and supplied with The White Company toiletries. The master suite has a super king sized bed and looks out over the living area, taking advantage of the glass fronted wall and fabulous valley views. The bathroom also has a gorgeous free standing bath from where you can also soak up the views. The further two bedrooms can be configured as either king or twin.

The lower level below the living space is self-contained and opens out into a second living area that is perfect for allowing groups with children or different families sharing to have their own space. A big living room with a wood burning stove and television is central to the lower floor as well as an open plan dining area and second kitchen. A large private balcony is accessed from the living room which offers a second outdoor area from which to enjoy the sunny views. Leading off this second living area are two large en-suite bedrooms. The bedrooms can be configured as king or twin and the extra large sofa in the living room can also double as a sofa bed if required.

This luxury ski chalet is let on a self-catered basis but it comes with a generous welcome pack containing champagne and essential groceries. The kitchen is modern, open plan, and extremely well equipped, plus the town of Morzine and all its gorgeous restaurants is just a short stroll away.

Chalet Four Twenty L’Élé can also be booked with private chef at an extra cost, if preferred, or catering can be delivered. A full grocery shop can also be done and even a morning bakery delivery be arranged.

There are no spa facilities at the chalet.

This luxury self-catered Morzine chalet is perfect for children given that there is a separate living area which they could make their own. It is well set-up for families wanting their own space and their own bedrooms and outdoor areas. There are also heaps of activities for children, from DVDs to watch to gaming consoles and a games library.

The breathtaking designer interiors.

The lack of spa facilities. But there are so many extras it would be churlish to quibble!

This Morzine ski chalet is located just a few minutes’ drive from the town centre and also just a few minutes from the pretty village of Montriond just outside Morzine. It is possible to walk into town across the suspension bridge and along the valley. This takes around 15 minutes.

A free bus service stops a few minutes from the chalet door, providing access to all ski lifts. Guests can also opt in to an on-call resort driver service if they prefer.

Morzine is just 1hr 15 minutes away from Geneva airport.
